Dr. Yen Chen was incredibly patient, compassionate, and supportive throughout a very difficult experience. She took the time to carefully explain all of the possible treatment options and levels of care for our dog, and made sure we understood what each path could involve. We never felt rushed or pressured, and they answered our questions with kindness, honesty, and so much patience. Although our dog ultimately had liver failure and we made the heartbreaking decision to proceed with euthanasia, we felt fully supported throughout the entire process. Dr. Chen guided us with empathy and understanding, and helped us make the best decision for our dog with dignity and love. We are deeply grateful for the care, compassion, and emotional support they gave us during such a painful time.

Had to bring my pup in over the weekend. Same compassionate experience as the last few visits. I always know my pets as well as the humans here are treated with kindness and respect. Options and quoted fees are always explained up front and never felt an upsell on any visit, just clear information. There was a bit of a longer wait this time as there was an emergency ahead, but the waiting area is clean, fairly large and an easy place to wait. With all of the open window space, my girl was happy to wait and stare out the window until her turn. There was a small discrepancy on my credit card payment vs actual charges that I noticed later that night, sent and email, and it was fixed the next morning. I appreciate that and everything they do here.

This weekend our sweet pup was not feeling well so we took her to Iron Horse Vet Care. The staff was so kind and compassionate. They listened to our concerns and provided a detailed explanation of what our sweet dog was experiencing. They did not request any unnecessary procedures or tests, but sent us home with a complete plan. We went in feeling very anxious and left knowing exactly how to help our dog. I would highly recommend this emergency vet center.

The Bone Witch

When my dog was with me, this is the only place who was able to help and give me comprehensive assistance and knowledge about what was going on with her. A while later after our emergency visit to fix her broken hip. I was and am so grateful for the understanding and kindness as well when I had to return to receive her ashes after she passed. (She passed from old age) Thank you iron horse, I'll never forget. I suggest going here over any other emergency vet. 💚
