A California native, Veronica moved to the Northwest in 1997 to begin her college education. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Seattle University in 2001. Although her initial intent was to become a veterinarian, she realized early on that her heart was in patient care and changed her career to veterinary nursing.

Mariesa grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals, in Washougal, Washington. She is currently a senior at the University of Washington, and will soon earn her degree in Human Resources Management.

Derrick Henrickson
Derrick joined us in March of 2015. He has always had an interest in working with animals, and after an opportunity to care for people's pets at IVCC, Derrick is now planning to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Elena recently graduated from the University of Washington with her degree in Psychology, focusing on animal behavior. She has always enjoyed working with animals and finds it very rewarding.

Shannon joined IVCC in 2014 and enjoys the opportunity to get to know our patient's individual personalities. She is a student, and is considering a future in veterinary medicine.
