I found out my baby (my 12 year old yorkie poo) needed surgery, he had 3 hernias. I was told by other places I had called that it would be close to 10,000. I finally called this place and they had me come in and do an exam, the total was less than half! They took their time and answered all of our questions. The day of the surgery the doctors came out and were giving us updates. The staff is absolutely amazing. They gave us a comfortable room to wait in and periodically came in to check on us as we waited. Since the surgery my baby has been back to himself! He wants to play and has since gotten his appetite back. The staff made it so easy to trust them. Very informative, very helpful. Thank you so much spribgwood! We are forever grateful

this is a recap to my first reviews the today they had me come in at 1:00 for to re-examine my animal hound fog her name is duchess she's a dog 3 years old and they re-examined her for free this will be the second examination in 3 days and when they were examining her they couldn't feel her abdomen good enough because she would scream which they touched it but she's an abused animal that I got from an animal hospital I worked at for 3 years so she isn't around a lot of people because she gets so excited ( Anxiety ) when they're around but yet when they go to examine her she screams she thinks that they're trying to hurt her although she does like people now but I guess the examination the way they provide it or the way they have to do with touching her in places that are sensitive causes her to yell out so we thought that there was something wrong with her abdomen so they did an ultrasound for free and found there was nothing wrong with her bladder her kidneys or anything so we think it's just her tummy is upset they were very very nice even though my first review was very negative but yes this is a good veterinarian they're kind of very compassionate about your pet's health and I would recommend them to anybody I still think they're a little overpriced but hey they're right on louetta so they probably have a lot of overhead and have to pay employees plus economy is high and price's are higher every everywhere so it doesn't mean that you shouldn't take your animal there because I would pay anything for my animal to be healthy my mother passed away the same year I got my dog duchess she was a rescue animal from work and she replaced my mother you hear about people that are attached to their animals as if they're humans well that's how I feel about my Duchess she took my mother's place in my heart and help me get through her passing I really appreciate how kind you are to her and me and Dutches'e best friend Baby my English Spot rabbit Thank you from the bottom of our hearts We ❤️ you guys.

If you own a Doberman with posted ears , dont waste your time bringing them here. Danielle Merritt will stare at the dog, repeatedly ask questions why they have glue on their ears and overall just be a judgmental person. That is not someone I want remotely near my dog. Then she had the audacity to tell me as his owner that I need to do something different with my dog. Last time I checked , veterinarians are supposed to give vaccinations and treat sick dogs and we'll visit animals , not give their opinion on what an owner chooses to do with their animal. I walked out of this visit and said she was making me uncomfortable. IF YOU OWN A CROPPED DOBERMAN, do not bother with this office.

The Tech was very personable and accomodating. The Vet was good as well. The practice is new. We have been going to this location under the previous owner for years. We felt comfortable here too.

Staff is kind and explain treatment options and cost. Plus cost options. The staff that handled my pet were loving and patient due to him being nervous. I recommend taking your pet to Springwood Vet Hospital. I’m going to take my other 2 dogs there as well.
