Their Neurosurgeon performed emergency herniated disc surgery on my French Bulldog and the doctor was Amazing! Gave me personal updates every day post surgery and was never rushed. She and the staff there are very caring and compassionate to their patients. They even took time to send me an update picture while she was in their care. They allow visits while pet is there and it was obvious how much my Frenchie trusted and liked the staff when they brought her in for our visits. Highly recommend!

Blue Pearl is amazing. Our spicy kitty Merda is famous (or infamous) with the staff. Like most cats, he hates medical visits, he LOVES Dr. Lindsay and her team. Dr. Lindsay saved his life in 2021 and we are forever grateful! I wish BP also did routine care, but it gives me peace knowing that if either of our kitties have an emergency, that BP is there.

Came into the hospital in an emergency situation when my Doberman stopped moving his hind legs on a Sunday evening. He was getting an MRI on Monday and in surgery by Tuesday to repair a herniated disk. I am so thankful to all of the staff at BluePearl. You made this nervous mama, very calm with your kindness and amazing communication. Dr. Lindsay and the ICU team has been absolutely wonderful in their daily updates and pictures. We left the hospital after 5 days feeling prepared to start rehab at home with a harness to help us move Senna around. I have already been telling my friends about the amazing service from Blue Pearl and to take their fur babies there in case of an emergency.

We recently moved to Texas and I needed to have a Neurologist involved with my dog whom I was told was having seizures. When we arrived everyone was really nice and accommodating. We were put into a room almost immediately. I spoke to a Technician and gave her all my dog’s history relating to his seizures. I also gave her all his records from the first ER visit on through all the tests he’d had with his Neurologist from where we previously lived. When the Dr came in the room (and after a thorough examination of my dog) we talked for a while and then she started to show me videos of different types of seizures that dogs can have. There was one video that absolutely mimicked my dog’s seizures. Then she started explaining to me that he just might have a condition called “head bobbing” and not necessarily seizures. This is something that can happen to young dogs of his breed. Head bobbing does not require medication and she explained different ways to distract him when they occur. She also told me to give him his medications only once a day instead of twice and see how he does after a month. If he does ok, then she advised me to take him off his meds completely. It’s almost been a month and he has not had any issues. I’m very hopeful that he has grown out of the head bobbing and also hopeful that he will not be on a lifetime of medication he did not need. I can’t thank Blue Pearl Hospital and the awesome Neurologist enough for truly understanding his condition and for helping me treat him without being on any medication. I highly recommend this hospital!

I brought my Chihuahua here for a checkup because she was breathing much more than usual. I knew this was abnormal after researching how many breaths per minute are normal for dogs. We waited over two hours between the lobby and the exam room, and during that time I was given very little information. My dog was kept caged, and I wasn’t told anything helpful about her condition. After the visit, they told me it was just an upset stomach and recommended prescription food, even though her breathing was still clearly out of control. I trusted their judgment. A few days later, I had to take her to a different emergency vet, where they immediately told me she had fluid in her lungs. Unfortunately, she has since passed away. I’m grateful she’s no longer suffering, but I’m devastated that this was missed so easily and so quickly by another clinic. We were charged a large amount of money for a checkup and dog food, with no real answers or proper diagnosis. The lack of urgency, communication, and care was extremely disappointing. Please be cautious about bringing your pet here. I strongly recommend going somewhere more trustworthy, even if it’s farther away. God bless your pets.
