I’ve been taking my cat, Stewie, to Moreland Veterinary Hospital for 17 years. Dr. Bob is the best! He has never tried to upsell me, he is honest and realistic in his approach. He’s been an excellent vet. Also, a shoutout to Liz who handles all manner of crisis and chaos that enters the door. She’s smart and incredibly capable. Lastly, Pat is the kindest soul. I know Stewie is in excellent and compassionate hands when Pat is his tech.

Hi all, my boyfriend and I are here in Portland visiting his family and we have a foster pup that ate a corn cob, at the time we did not know what it was. Dr. Bruno recommended giving IV fluids to see if it would move the obstruction farther down and hopefully get his body to digest it. But with no success the rescue that saved him from a major kill shelter in Az decided to do surgery. Dr. Bruno did an amazing job with surgically removing the corn cob and sowing him back up. We are so thankful for him seeing us and taking on our situation. He is an incredibly busy doctor and was getting ready to leave town but saw us anyways. He is also a local vet which we love to support the local community. I called at least 10 other Veterinarian hospital's and it seems as though Portland has been taken over by coperate Veterinarian hospitals. Their prices for surgery start between $3,500 & go as high as $12,000 for just removing an obstruction. That is absolutely ridiculous and it seems as though they are just taking advantage of the general public because once it becomes all corporate people will have no where else to go. This Veterinarian is considerably less expensive than the corporate hospitals. Support this local Vet they are wonderful. Their staff are all great, very caring and also very helpful. Pat is the Vet Technician that did a great job with our foster boy. The other technician are also all wonderful. I can not say enough positive things about this local Veterinarian hospital.

This is the best veterinary clinic I’ve been to since moving to Oregon. We’ve been with them for a little over two years. The staff goes above and beyond. They really have your pets best interest when it comes to care. They do not try to “upsale” unnecessary products. The entire front desk staff rocks! All the technicians and assistants are kind, attentive and truly love animals. I can’t say enough about all the doctors we have seen. The expertise and dedication along with consistent communication, make us feel at ease. I have an 18 year old dog and an 8 year old dog. The old man is so sweet in his old age, they have been such a comfort as we navigate this chapter of his life with us. The 8 year old is overly excited to come and visit. He’s been there more than the 18 year old recently. They were very understanding when we wanted to wait and see on a surgery to remove a lump. We eventually decided to go ahead and it was a breeze. Our dude is back to being overly excited about everything. Thank you Moreland Veterinary Hospital for all you do!

My username is not my real name but we have been a client for YEARS! In Portland if you want the very best compassionate care for your best friends, MORELAND is the best! Bella had her first visit recently and was very vocal but ultimately had a great visit. The staff and docs are nothing short of stellar, communicative, CARING, and they really LOVE what they do. The ONLY complaint is the office is not super big I wish they could expand so more pets could be seen here. We are moving to France this year and I will miss Moreland very much! Besides Blue Pearl Moreland is THE BEST VET in Portland! Common sense to me!

Great service and good prices! They don't try to sell services and products that you don't need, unlike several other vets I've been to. The folks that work there are pleasant and have good senses of humor. Moreland Veterinary has been there for over 30 years.
