I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Chang & his technician Kayla! My dog Roo needed radiation to address a mass in her chest and the process was smoother than I ever could have anticipated. Dr. Chang is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate. It was evident the first time that we spoke that he is very passionate about what he does, which only made me more confident in choosing him to care for my dog. His level of patience is also astounding! There were multiple times I had him on the phone asking question after question and he never once made me feel like I was bothersome and he never rushed me off the phone either. Kayla was also very knowledgeable and caring! Roo was taken to their treatment area without me for every session which can be nerve wracking for any pet parent with a sick pet, but having Kayla as our technician made me feel like Roo was in the best of hands every step of the way. Special shout out to Michaela at the front desk too, who was also a vital part of Roo’s treatment! She was kind, attentive, and is clearly a very dedicated CSR. Roo & I are grateful for the whole AERA team for everything they’ve done for us!

We have had to use AERA a few times for emergencies & the service you get there is top notch. And yes, it is a bit on the expensive side but it is an emergency room. I’ve never been disappointed with their service or knowledge. They always keep you informed as to what’s going on & the staff is wonderful.

Brought our four-year-old Chihuahua–Pomeranian mix in to replace a splint that another hospital had put on, which came off. They reviewed the records from the other hospital and replaced the splint for us. They only charged for a revisit, which was very kind. Reception, staff, and Dr. Gerber were all top-notch—friendly, compassionate, and professional. The office was spotless and odor-free, which says a lot for an animal hospital. They also offer complimentary coffee pods and bottled water, which is a nice touch. Highly recommend!

About a year and three months ago our beloved Swedish Vallhund, Leeloo, was saved by the speedy diagnosis and extremely helpful, level-headed bedside manner of Dr. Anna Kubiak. Her clear, forthright, logical explanations of what our options were helped me make the right decisions to get Leeloo the right care in time to save her life in the midst of the shocking chaos, sudden grief, and extremely narrow window of time that came with her unexpectedly serious and terrifying diagnosis. We were able to have an extra year and three months of Leeloo's love and vibrant, healthy company, companionship, and continued existence thanks to this extremely helpful vet, whose words and advice were like a beacon of light illuminating the correct path in the midst of an otherwise impenetrable storm of fear, grief, and dread. We are so very grateful for this gift, and while we are heartbroken to have lost Leeloo to unrelated causes over this past weekend, we have come to realize that this extra time we were given with her was indeed a gift, a bonus, and it really is thanks to Dr. Kubiak's help. Her quick and efficient diagnosing expertise, her clear, level-headed, honest communication in the midst of our chaos, and her speedy recommendation of the nearest internal medicine vet got us to get her to the care she needed in time to save her life. We are extremely grateful, and want it known what a beautiful gift this was to be given. An extra year and three months with our dog was a precious treasure we will always appreciate with all our hearts.

I've been here twice now with my dog for scheduled appointments with oncology and Orthopaedics. The facility is amazing, but the staff are extremely kind, warm, and have high emotional intelligence or empathy. I would highly recommend AERA.
