My most recent visit to this place was great, and the vet and tech attending to my cat were very compassionate and delicate with her when she was stressed and in need of help. I’m always skeptical of vets based on the way my cat responds to them, but even considering the circumstances these lovely ladies loved my cat through a very difficult time of being poked and prodded to figure out what was wrong. She’s doing so much better now and I’m very grateful for Village Vets Avondale. I’ve also learned my cat totally needs a Gabapentin before going into these places lol.

ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOVE my new vet family❤️ From leaving Banfield and coming to Village Vets, was like night and day! I was able to get an appointment ASAP. The receptionist was knowledgeable, patient, very friendly, and understanding of my concerns. The nurse Tyra, was extremely patient, understanding, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Tyler was an answered prayer. My senior Yorkie’s health is starting to slowly decline and she was very knowledgeable and gently educated me on steps to make this change to our routine. Upon leaving, information was emailed to me. I didn’t have to call to remind them to send anything. My dogs didn’t express any anxiety during our visit, which is a first when coming to a veterinarian. I am extremely pleased with services rendered here.

Took our 14 week old lab here for her first visit (with us) and general check up a week ago. Dr. Irish and staff that day were wonderful! We had our puppy's original vet +vaccine records sent over to this location. Once they were received, we were sent an email to make an appt for her rabies series. When arrived to the office today, it was revealed that the email and link was for the Decatur location. Why? We have no idea, apparently a technical issue. We have never stepped foot in that location, particularly for our new puppy who has only been here. Of course we did not notice the link went to the specific Decatur location because why would we need to look for that, being she is a patient for Avondale and all records were sent there? Instead of being helpful, the female receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful, only stating "I dont know" and "I have nothing for Panda (our puppy) here today" with such an attitude. She was neither proactive or understanding of the situation and refused to look into the mix up further. She continued that energy in an email, still with no answers and saying, "I dont know." It's a shame because we so looked forward to seeing Panda grow here with Dr. Irish and the rest of kind staff, but we have now found a new Veternarian in Decatur.

Beautiful staff and clean facility! Everyone is friendly and straightforward whilst taking the utmost care to be gentle with my pet cat "FatCatSpit". I greatly appreciate my experience at Village Vets in Avondale and I know Spit did as well because he ended up begging for cuddles before he left! Amazing energy and efficient work! Dr.Tyler is so kind and intelligent and really made me comfortable with the way she treated my boy! I was walked through all the information and felt confident in their abilities.
