The Real Teal

Last night was one of the hardest days of my daughter’s and I’s life. She had to her beloved Bear down RIP Bear-Bear! but I have to tell you the staff here are so BEYOND KIND, understanding, and made something so horrible a little easier. They walked us through everything and made sure that she and I didn’t hurt worse. They let us spend time before and after without rush. They truly are amazing you can see the compassion for us was written all over their faces! As her mother having to watch her put down her baby was hard enough but they did it so kindly. In comparison to my nieces dog cremation they are far cheaper but lacked nothing!

My dog was recently diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma tumor Which is always malignant. It was a very aggressive tumor and grew rapidly in size after Biscuit was diagnosed. Treatment options that were provided were short term solutions, and we felt would greatly affect his quality of life. Began bleeding profusely, and it would not stop. Our vet was not in the office that afternoon and they had no other that they’re available We contacted vet to see if they performed euthanasia and they did we set an appointment the same day. it was very very difficult decision that had to be made We arrived at Lake Mary UrgentVet and well greeted very warmly with genuine compassion for our situation. They have a special room to perform end of life. it was very calming and soothing. Doctor and the assistant were very patient with us and gave us all the time that we wanted to spend with biscuit. They listen to many stories about biscuit and saw our many tears of love. They acting like they had known biscuit forever. They made our decision a little bit easier by being so compassionate and caring and we knew that our biscuit was treated with respect all the way to the end. Approximately a week later, we received a sympathy from UrgentVet expressing their condolences with personal messages from people, we hadn’t even met at the center and they were very heartfelt messages. And in that card was two other cards one was biscuits paw print, and the other was his nose print. That meant so much to us especially since our vet never even acknowledged biscuits passing.. decide to bring another fur friend into our home and the need arises. They will be the first place that we go to. They are top notch second to none. The caring and compassion is genuine and they are just fantastic people. Sheri Thompson

Incredible staff! They took amazing care of my not so friendly German Shepherd. They were able to get him in quickly when he needed treatment, and the pricing was very reasonable. The team was patient, compassionate, and professional throughout the visit. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality urgent care for their pets.

The doctor and staff were very thorough and took the time to listen to all of my concerns. While the visit was expensive, it was understandable for an urgent veterinary appointment, and the quality of care and service reflected that. The clinic has a very calming environment, including pet-calming diffusers and soothing nature sounds that noticeably helped my cat relax. Their late hours were also a huge benefit. Overall, we had a positive experience, and I would definitely return if my pet needs urgent care in the future.

We took our Tina for an unexpected visit on a Saturday, we were seen very quickly by Amanda and Dr. Alicia. Everybody was professional and great to work with. Competent, organized, very well run outfit. Would definitely go back. Glad they’re there. Thank you to the whole staff. Tina is doing great.
