This company accepted our payment, had us wait four weeks for our dog’s brace, and then abruptly announced they were filing for bankruptcy. They have refused to issue a refund and will not return the mold we already paid for. Because of this, we now have to start the entire process over — another four weeks to create a new mold with a different company, followed by an additional four or more weeks to receive a new brace. What’s most heartbreaking is that our dog must remain in pain for at least two more months simply because this company will not release the mold we purchased. Their actions have made it painfully clear that the well-being of our dog was never their priority. This experience has been devastating and deeply disappointing.

As a veterinarian, I was incredibly disappointed with the service I received, the questionable product production (different location than where they stated on their website it would be made, at their facility), and we often had to change patient treatment based on lack of responsiveness and assistance from OrthoPets. I understand they started as a trusted veterinary partner, but they have not been allies in my experience. The money changes hands, and my clinical perspective is not considered.

We paid $4000 for a pair of “custom “ braces for our dog after her accident. I highly doubt how much “custom” work was put in these braces. She was bruised and cut so bad it breaks my heart every time I look at her! Terrible business. Even our vet was disappointed. Looking at the response from the business, all I have to say is you delivered exactly the same results as a pair of braces online, which would have cost a fraction. For $4000, you gave your customer nothing extra.
