Wonderful, knowledgeable, patient, caring vets and vet assistants. They were very communicative and friendly. I didn’t feel like I was getting Price gouged. And these vets really love animals. I just brought my six month old Yorkie in. And this will be the veterinarian hospital that I take her to for the rest of her life.

We absolutely love this hospital. From the front office staff, techs and doctors. They are fair, honest upfront and kind. We were so lucky to have found Laurel Pet. And would not even consider taking our kitties anywhere else. Dr. Mehta is an incredible vet. She’s patient, kind and truly listens. Also, extremely knowledgeable and provides excellent care. And we adore Carlos. I look forward to seeing him every time. Whether on the phone or in person, he always handles things for us with professionalism while also being great to engage with. I've been going to Laurel Pet Hospital for the better part of 18 years. Dr Ebling and staff (and the newly added Dr Mehta) have been the best in accommodating my pets, especially my excitable/skittish (late) cat and dog Scrappy with the utmost patience. They take the time to answer all my questions and are highly communicative outside of visits. Even though I live across the city, I still make the drive to Laurel Pet since I know I can trust they will take great care!

I was very excited to try a new veterinarian for my dog after a dear friend highly recommended this clinic. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely underwhelming. The facility itself feels cold and unwelcoming, more like a sterile lab or morgue than a veterinary office. While Dr. Rettinger may be a kind person, I found her communication lacking. She did not return my phone calls in a timely manner—if at all. If her schedule is too demanding, I believe additional support staff might help ensure that clients receive prompt responses. As it stands, the lack of communication does not reflect well on her or the hospital. Based on this experience, I do not feel comfortable entrusting my dog’s care to her. I will be returning to VCA. They may be more expensive, but they consistently return my calls and take excellent care of my dog. In this case, it really is true that you get what you pay for.
