My hopes and prayers for a positive experience were met and exceeded by your entire team- from the front desk representatives answering the phones and helping me with questions or to check in, to the nurses caring for Benjamin in his post surgery stay (carrying him because he wanted to be held lol), to Dr Sebestyen who removed Benjamin's gallbladder mucocele flawlessly and called us on a Sunday to follow up on how he was doing post surgery during his recovery. We could not have asked for a better experience, treatment or care. Thank you, Dr Sebestyen for caring about our dog as you would hope someone would care for your own, and for treating us with respect and compassion. Thank you for coming into the room and looking us in the eyes, and shaking our hands. Thanks for your patience in answering our questions, hearing our concerns, and thank you most importantly for taking such good care of Benjamin and performing his surgery with no complications. He was off of all meds in 5 days and stitches out in 2 weeks. We are incredibly grateful to you all and everyone is doing an exceptional job. You are setting the bar high in your profession- thank you for renewing my faith in veterinary facilities and doctors, after some truly horrible prior experiences. Dr. Sebestyen is the BEST of the BEST. We absolutely trust him with our treasured family members. The entire team is professional, kind and compassionate, from the front desk attendants to the nurses, they strive to create a low stress experience for both pets and owners. The personal care and attention to detail were receive from Dr. Sebestyen is sincere and genuine, there is no one better to care for my best friends. Dr. Sebestyen is skilled and compassionate, a clear communicator and timely with answers to questions. Highly recommend him. The overall communication and compassion of the staff and doctor.

Here we are at the start of week 9. It's been a wild ride! Mostly hanging out on the floor and getting one to four hours of sleep every night making sure that I'm present for recovery on a total hip replacement surgery for my deaf and partially blind pupper. I feel grateful for modern medicine and the ability to give my disabled Border Collie with debilitating hip dysplasia a new chance at life. During this uncertain and confusing process, the staff have been so understanding ,sweet and helpful. Always having a gentle and welcoming attitude. I find this so rare these days especially in health care. In fact, I drive an hour and a half to this hospital, as the San Diego THR hospital near me was the polar opposite with manners over the phone. I feel immensely grateful for Dr Sebestyan. He's not only a skilled and highly educated surgeon, but also a kind, generous and patient soul with a very helpful and accommodating disposition, while still holding structure for understanding the process. I can't imagine having done this with anybody else! I'm grateful for the referral from a vet in Carlsbad that brought me to him! This 9 weeks was hard but I can see that my dog has the foundation for a great New Life thanks to Dr Sebestyan and his staff! Good bedside manner mixed with such high skill set is a magical combination that this doctor and office provide. Thank you for touching Our Lives in such a positive way and helping us through the Dark Times. Bonus that you are part of an emergency hospital and answer the phone 24/7 in my time of need! I have been going to these specialist for over 15 years. Each surgery and surgeon has been excellent. Everyone is lovely there. They all know my dog’s name and are welcoming when I walk in the door. From the time I walk in the door to when I leave, there are many touch points with different staff, and I appreciate their professionalism and thoughtfulness. The quality of surgeon technique and knowledge is paramount.

My 6 month old puppy needed shoulder surgery and I was devastated. They were able to see me the next day and scheduled his surgery for the next week. Everyone was very nice and great with my difficult dog(He is timid and growls like a demon) Staff were also professional and knowledgeable.
