As a first time pet owner I went here from the shelter recommendations but as naive as it sounds I didnt realize the pricing. They price gouge and charge you triple the amount other vets may charge. Staff is nice and friendly but I do not recommend coming here for vaccinations or things because it is extremely expensive and I just didnt realize. They don't offer anything more premium than any other vet, but also they always want another exam fee if you feel like your pet has something wrong. Even to get my prescribed vaccines I had to push for that I got examined last month do I have to do another exam fee? Please please please do your research if you want to save money.

New to the area. Had my first appointment for my dog. Annual exam and two vaccinations. Done. Good. But no, the up-sell here is heavy, so brace yourself. Persuaded me that my dog -- I love, of course, every dog parent loves their dog[s] -- needed blood work done. At some crazy cost -- hundreds of dollars. It's my boy and I said 'yes'. Am I sucker - yes? But I also feel totally duped. Called my two previous vets, who both told me this is a money-making sham. So BEWARE! They are waiting to suck $$ our of your wallet. Oh, and BTW, total time with the vet -- maybe 7 minutes.

There’s a reason all these reviews are really bad. There should be other better animal hospital options. Wouldn’t want people like that to see my dog. I scheduled and called to finalize the appointment. When I asked about the price, they told me they cannot provide it until the $250 consultation and just hung up the phone call. Very rude and disappointing experience!

“As always, VCA Vets & Pets Hospital provides exceptional care for my Gracielynn. Recently, she broke her right dewclaw and needed it removed. Gracielynn can be skittish and even aggressive when it comes to scary situations, but the staff were incredibly patient and knowledgeable in handling her. Their expertise and compassion always stand out. I’ve been trusting this vet for years, I used to drive 35 mins just to come to this vet, I live closer now. I wouldn't go to any other place. I have recommended many of my friends who also travel to come to this specific VCA, and Dr. Lem is absolutely fantastic. I truly appreciate everything you all do for my girls. Thank you for your amazing care!”
