I and my dog were treated with such compassion and respect by everyone at PESCM, from the ground up: from the front desk, to the vet techs, to the doctors and the surgeons. Everyone cared so deeply, that even though I was going through a very trying time, PESCM became for me a place of refuge and reassurance. When my dog was finally able to go home from the ICU, he walked out wagging his tail, ate a bowl of chopped ham, took himself outside to potty, and went to sleep. Until then I had not even been sure I would ever be able to take him home. PESCM gave me back my dog and some hope. Bandit's condition is such that even with the intelligence and support of the incredibly knowledgeable PESCM team, he will not have very more months with me. But thanks to you, he has had some good days, and that's more than I could ever ask for. Thank you. Thank you so much. I love Dr. Barry and Dr. Hogan, Stephanie and the whole front office crew, Danny and Alex and Kylene and all of the vet techs, anyone else whose name I haven't mentioned; there were too many wonderful interactions to count. Thank you to the sweet vet tech who heard me singing to Bandit in the ICU and later played music to soothe him after I had left to go to sleep. The woman at the front desk with the long pretty braids who made little jokes with me and cheered me up. The overnight staff I didn't even see who were little angels in the background, nursing my dog back to health. And Pizza Kramer, who was in the ICU with Bandit for a short time and got to go home too. I love you all. Thank you for your kind hearts. The compassion and attentiveness of the entire PESCM team!!! I felt wonderfully supported by the entire team. Amber was a lovely and reassuring presence at the front desk, while Nurse Courtney was both caring and efficient. Dr. Krupa was incredibly personable and thorough, and the aftercare I received from Dr. Kramer was truly exceptional. Honestly, everyone I interacted on Friday 11/28-11/29 & 11/30 were amazing. Communication and overall compassion during one of my scariest moments in life reassured me I took my fur baby to the right ER. Thank you 🫶🏽

The PESCM team has always been thorough and compassionate with both of my dogs and with myself. There have been a few times under stress and bad news that I have broken down and even the front desk team stays calm and caring. The doctors at PESCM make sure to thoroughly explain their reasoning behind the care and tests they're administering so that I am cognizant enough to make decisions. My dogs get happy to see their favorite techs and doctors. One of my dogs used to shake and have high blood pressure at the vet. He now gets excited when we show up for rechecks, falls asleep in the exam room, and begs for pets from his vets. We feel lucky to have PESCM close by for their specialized and emergency care and will continue to use them. We have used almost every department (emergency, oncology, internal medicine, surgery, and ophthalmology) and I would recommend them all. My dogs especially love tech Rachel, tech Anna, Dr. Fuerst in internal medicine, and Dr. Zimmerman in oncology. The kindness and knowledge from the staff makes this the place we’ll choose every time.

Open 24/7 is great. Helpful staff and vets. Lovely facilities. We recall the previous location had ultrasound on site, however we had to wait until the next day for any diagnostic tests other than blood work. The vet tech who brought our dog out Saturday night was very helpful and kind. She was friendly and took time to answer questions and help us. She was great with our dog (Abby the Husky) and made sure we understood what we needed to do in case Abby showed signs of distress. Very quick to send doctor notes so that we may seek insurance reimbursement. The fastest vet notes we have received! Thank you so much.

They took amazing care of my dog and us from the first phone call all the way to his surgical discharge. We called for an internal med consult and even though they weren’t the soonest available in our area, Jamie’s excellent customer service had us knowing this was the place to go. Dr. Harb-Hauser was great in going over diagnostics with us. She referred us to surgery with Dr. Rajeev who took her time to thoroughly answer every one of our very many questions. Alahnna, the surgical coordinator, also responded to my last minute emailed questions. She was very helpful. Everyone did a great job keeping me informed of my dog’s procedure. They even texted me pictures of him in hospital overnight. He came out of surgery doing great and went home the following day. I’m thankful for all the care and attention he received. 2 months post op, he’s doing wonderful!
