Exceptional Specialized Care and True Compassion. After a disappointing experience at another emergency clinic where we felt the level of expertise was lacking, finding Omega Veterinary Group was a godsend. From the very first phone call, the professionalism and care were evident. We initially met with Ben, the Surgical Nurse, who was incredibly thorough and put us at ease right away. Meeting Dr. Caleb Hudson solidified that we were in the right place. Dr. Hudson is clearly a leader in his field—his expertise in advanced orthopedic and minimally invasive surgery is world-class, but it’s his bedside manner that truly sets him apart. After her surgery, our dog required weekly follow-up appointments for cast changes, and every single member of the staff treated us with genuine kindness. They weren't just focused on the clinical side; they were truly interested in our dog’s comfort and emotional well-being throughout the recovery process. If you are looking for a practice that combines cutting-edge veterinary medicine with a heart, I cannot recommend Dr. Hudson and the entire Omega team highly enough.

Dr. Stephen Jones is an exceptional veterinarian/surgeon and an even better person. I am incredibly grateful to have found him. My dog, Chester, struggled with chronic ankle pain for years, and I spent a long time trying to determine the best way to help him. We explored every possible option before finding Dr. Jones, and from the very beginning, he was thoughtful, thorough, and deeply compassionate. He genuinely cares about his patients and took the time to truly listen to my concerns, clearly explain our options, and help me feel confident in the decisions we made. I drove all the way from Park City,UT to California because I knew his expertise, skill, and level of care would give Chester the best possible outcome—and it was absolutely worth it. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Jones and his entire team more highly. Thank you for everything.

When looking for the best veterinary facility in my area for my cat. My vet suggested to go to Sage Veterinary or Omega Veterinary. I asked my vet which of the two he would pick and he chose Omega Veterinary. So I immediately called Omega and discussed my cat’s situation and off we went. Their front desk staff immediately greeted us and knew my pet’s name upon entering their hospital. Soon we were in a room waiting to be seen. We were incredibly fortunate to be assigned Richard as our Vet Tech. Richard is very thorough in taking accurate vitals. He asked questions and took notes and handled our pet gently. One can easily see this particular tech loves his job and does an outstanding job. At discharge time, Richard sent me home with a veterinary partner article that helped me understand the issue affecting my cat. Our Vet was Dr Hunter. She is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. She doesn’t rush and answers all your questions and concerns. Overall, our first visit to Omega checked off all the boxes and exceeded my expectations. For reference, I have experienced Sage Veterinary in recent months. While Sage has equally qualified veterinary practitioners their front desk staff is in dire need of new management.

Dr. Stephen Jones is an exceptional doctor. He has seen our dog, Mardi in Park City, UT as well as in San Mateo. Mardi has had several joint issues throughout his life. He needed a total knee replacement, but we were told that it was not possible until we met Dr. Jones. He has provided us with a path forward for our boy and has helped him tremendously. Not only is he an extremely knowledgeable, thorough, skilled surgeon he is so compassionate and really cares about his patients. Dr. Jones is truly one of the best and we are forever grateful! The bay area is so lucky to have him!

Initially brought our Bear in for emergency assessment for an eye issue. I am impressed with the personal attention we received that big er clinics no longer provide, I,e. the inability to directly speak with the nurse attending your fur baby or get messages to and from the doctor quickly. We had to bring Bear back to see Dr. Audrey Hudson, the ophthalmologist. She is EXCELLENT! Always so patient and kind! Addressed all our concerns and personally called us back to answer a question we had after the appointment. That to us is the personal care I missed from the old days. THANK YOU DR. HUDSON!!
