I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Whole Pet Vet and feel it is important to share my concerns to warn other pet owners. My eight-month-old German Shepherd was seen at this clinic, and throughout the process I experienced a troubling lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism. I repeatedly attempted to contact the clinic for updates and clarification regarding my dog’s care and diagnosis, often calling more than ten times before receiving any response. Even then, many of my requests went unanswered. A diagnosis of possible elbow dysplasia was delivered without adequate explanation, guidance, or timely follow-up, leaving me anxious and confused about my young dog’s health. The lack of communication during such a serious situation felt negligent and deeply distressing. Additionally, I was initially led to believe that I would be shown how to administer Adequan injections to my dog during a visit. This was presented as a straightforward and supportive process. However, once in the room, I was informed by the assistant manager, Jenn, that she would refuse to demonstrate how to give a simple subcutaneous injection unless I paid an additional $49 fee. This was never clearly communicated beforehand and felt opportunistic, especially given the emotional state of a concerned pet owner. It was difficult not to feel that financial gain was prioritized over patient care. The veterinarians and management, including Joe and Jenn, did not demonstrate compassion, accountability, or integrity in my experience. I do want to note that the front desk staff—specifically Mia, Ashley, and Ava—were consistently kind, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the actions and decisions of the clinic’s leadership and medical staff. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. Pet owners deserve transparency, timely communication, and care that prioritizes the well-being of animals—not unexpected fees or unanswered calls. I strongly encourage others to seek veterinary care elsewhere.

Dr. Lee is an excellent veterinarian. She takes her time with patients, listens carefully to concerns, addresses them thoughtfully, and offers helpful guidance. My dog was very comfortable with her, and the front-desk staff are also consistently kind and responsive. My two-star review is a result of the way Dee, who is listed as Whole Pet Vet's "Client Relations Specialist" treated me. Dee personally scheduled my dog’s appointment for an exam and an allergy injection. When I arrived, she repeatedly told me I did not have an appointment and looked at me as if I were mistaken. At the time, I did not realize I was speaking to the same person who had made the appointment. Eventually, I was told that only a vet tech could administer the injection and that no doctor was available to see my dog. This was especially frustrating because I live a significant distance away and had taken time off work for this visit. When I asked whether my dog could be squeezed in to see a vet, I was told no, very abruptly. Dee did not acknowledge that she had scheduled the appointment, did not take responsibility, and did not offer an apology, instead saying that I must have "misinterpreted the date.” The text message Dee sent me told me I had an appointment "tomorrow." I’m not sure how the word “tomorrow” can be misunderstood. After my dog received her injection, I mentioned to the front-desk staff that an apology for the error would have been appreciated. They apologized immediately and kindly, while Dee remained at her computer and did not acknowledge or respond to the situation. This is especially disappointing given that Whole Pet Vet is quite expensive. I am more than willing to pay premium prices for quality veterinary care, but paying high fees while being treated dismissively is not acceptable. Dr. Lee and the rest of the staff are wonderful, but the client experience I had that day significantly undermined what is otherwise be a great practice.

Whole Pet Vet Clinic and Wellness Center was an absolute lifesaver. They jumped in immediately to help me secure two international health certificates after another vet refused to sign at the eleventh hour wi the out paying an exorbitant fee . The team was thorough, transparent with pricing, and incredibly supportive throughout a stressful situation. Huge shoutout to Ashley at the front desk for her kindness, staying after hours to get me scheduled, and keeping me updated every step of the way. Truly exceptional care and service, I can’t recommend them enough. They turned a near-disaster into a smooth handled experience, and I’m incredibly grateful.

We recently found about this hollistic vet and they have been a breath of fresh air. After so many vet visits our dog has finally had a chance to find knowledgeable doctors and staff! Which is key! Staff named Ashley has been very sweet on the phone then in person even remembered us! We would definitely recommend this vet to friends and family. We are very careful without dogs when it comes to vets and can’t believe how they treated our dog with such care. Thank you guys for being there for her and us! We will definitely be back!

I just moved to the area, I come from a rural community. My Vet there is very personal and knows my dogs well, I had some concern getting to know a new Doctor. Dr. Landeen sat with my little dog for quite a bit before beginning the examination. I am also a fear free pet groomer so I appreciated her giving Piper personal attention before the hands on. She also listened to me, and was receptive to the information I had to give. She was thorough and gave me direct and concise communication about my tiny dogs needs. She has some medical issues that can turn critical very quickly, so having such a comprehensive exam meant a lot to me. Doing so with care for Piper's fear was top notch. This clinic came highly recommended and now I know why. I look forward to getting to know the staff there, and knowing my dogs will get the care and concern they get from me. As a pet pro I feel confident in the care they will receive. Piper says thank you guys!!
