My dog Coda and I have had the incredible privilege of being cared for by Dr. Woods and her amazing team at the Cardiff Animal Wellness Center in Cardiff, California, for 12 wonderful years. Our journey with my beloved dog Coda began when she was just about a year old, and Dr. Woods has been there for us through every milestone, challenge, and triumph. From the very start, Dr. Woods gave Coda the best possible care. She helped us navigate health issues with compassion, expertise, and a steady, gentle touch that immediately put us at ease. When Coda was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease a few years ago, Dr. Woods guided us with clarity and empathy, outlining treatment options and supporting us every step of the way. Most recently, when Coda developed a mass in her mouth, I was filled with worry. Yesterday, the dental team at Cardiff Animal Wellness Center performed an extraordinary procedure. They were able to remove the mass and, in addition, did an incredible job with Coda’s teeth. The level of care, precision, and genuine concern shown by Dr. Woods and her entire dental team was nothing short of exceptional. I cannot express enough gratitude for the love and support those at Cardiff Animal Wellness Center have shown Coda and I over the past 12 years. We chose Cardiff Animal Hospital to do 2 TPLO surgeries on our husky, Luna. The surgeries were done 1 month apart. Their pricing is one of the lowest ones we could find. It includes all post op appointments, check up x ray, laser therapy. We are very satisfied with our experience! The women who work there are compassionate, caring and eager to answer any questions you may have. From the signs saying “Welcome Luna” in the exam rooms, to vet techs sitting on the floor hanging out with Luna while talking to us, they really go above and beyond. I would even receive text messages a few days after appointments from the hospital checking in about how Luna is doing. Thanks to them, she is having an amazing recovery and soon she will be back to herself and full activity. Thank you again for everything you all do!

This is the best veterinarian we have ever been to across 3 states. My precious service dog, with the working breed drive to chase the ball , was given a play break, tore her ACL tendons & now requires TPLO surgery. We researched the procedure, the places within 3 counties that do the surgery, the expense involved, consulted with 3 different hospitals & clinics & are now scheduled for surgery this week at CAH. The drive to get my dog to CAH is a little over 2 hours & 60+ miles one way in traffic, but we know we have made the right choice! The "flat fee," the specially trained assistants, the experienced doctors, the office professionalism & the way my dog reacted to the staff made the choice easy to make. Comparative reviews and the comments from the customers waiting for their pets in the waiting area confirmed our understanding of this hospital. When I took a sneak peek around the corner to see how my dog was doing in the exam room, I saw her snuggled up to one of the doctors' assistants on the floor!!! Amazing! She hates going to the veterinarian! We are not looking forward to the surgery, but we are confident the outcome will be fine. So far, this is a 6-star review!!!!

Cardiff Animal Hospital is all-around a fantastic animal hospital. My Standard Poodle was able to be seen on short notice for a foxtail removal. Dr. Ingram did such a wonderful good and I appreciate the staff for always being so professional and kind. They even followed up with me to ensure he was healing properly. Although, this hospital is not the closest to me, I'll continue to drive the distance because their quality of care and attention is worth it!

We’ve been bringing our lovely Loosey here for about a year now and couldn’t be happier with the care she receives. Loosey is a bit fragile—she had an infection when she was young that left her with a funny walk. Every vet we saw before had no clear answers about why she wobbled, so we never thought too much of it. Recently, though, she’s been in a lot of pain. Dr. Wood not only helped us understand what might be causing it but also provided clear next steps and referred us to specialists. The journey isn’t over for Loosey, but thanks to Dr. Wood and Hannah’s kindness and professionalism, we feel much more supported. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
